Alluria’s red is a blend of Haghtanak and Kharmrahyut made at the firm’s Etchmiadzin winery. Both of these varieties produce high sugar content grapes and dark red juice, so it is no surprise that Alluria’s reds are highly concentrated, high alcohol wines. 2014 is the first vintage of this wine.
Tasting Notes: Deep red, purple color. Red fruits are covered by a wall of tannin. Not sure if age will soften this wine and reveal more.
