Description
Karas Classic White is the estate’s primary white wine. It’s a crisp white made from a blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and the Armenian grape Kangun. It’s fermented in steel and bottled without any time in barrel.
Tasting Notes: A pale yellow color. Green apples and honeysuckle notes on the nose. Pleasant tropical fruits on the palate, a mild level of acidity keeps the finish crisp. This is the first vintage of Classic White where the components seem to really support each other. Kangun forms the base of the wine, but you can distinguish what the Chardonnay and Viognier are adding to the blend – a nice entry level wine.
