Karasì is the first wine made by Zorah. 100% Areni from estate vineyards, it is fermented in concrete tanks, then aged in clay amphorea or “karas”. The 2010 Kasarì made headlines by being named one of Bloomberg New’s Top 10 wines of 2012.
Tasting Notes: Bright red to the rim, cherry fruit on the nose with earth tones. Deep cherry fruit carries through to the palate with a medicinal/herbal note. A well balanced wine. See June 16 Krush! EVN Tasting report for more.
