Made from estate grown fruit, this special cuvée of Old Bridge was fermented in wooden barrels.
This wine won a Gold Medal at the 2017 World Wine Awards held in Neustadt Germany.
Tasting Notes: Still red to the rim. Deep cherry nose with hints of leather. Crushed herds and flowers as the wine opens. Dark cherry and pomegranate fruit on the palate join with the herbal element. No pronounced oak, but a perfectly balanced wine of fruit, tannin and acid. More complex than the typical Areni Reserve wine. It may continue to age, but is delicious right now.
