Description
Van Ardi’s Estate red is a blend of the three Armenian red grape varieties grown at the estate (the Syrah was dropped from the blend in 2016). The mix varies from year to year based on how each of the components develops. It is fermented in steel and aged in a mix of French and Artsakh oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Crimson red color. Very young, slow to develop in the glass but opens up to reveal bright cherry fruit and soft herbs. Should improve with bottle age.
