Description
The 2017 Van Ardi Estate Red Wine is a blend of estate grown Areni, Kahket and Haghtanak. The mix varies from year to year based on how each of the components develops. It is fermented in steel and briefly aged in a mix of French and Artsakh oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Clear, bright purple-red color. Mulberry, pear/plum and violets on the nose. On the palate, floral/pastille elements, macerated strawberries in maple syrup. No noticeable oak, medium body, light tannins, smooth sweet finish. Young, may develop in the bottle, but very tasty right now.
