Old Bridge Winery

Old Bridge is the realized dream of Armen Khalatyan. It is the first small Armenian winery to make world class wines and established the standard for others to follow.

Old Bridge still makes it’s wines in a small winery just off the main highway in Vayots Dzor. Armen remains totally focused on quality and de-commissions wines he feels do not live up to the Old Bridge standard. As a result, Old Bridge wines are hard to find, even in Armenia.

 Old Bridge’s New Tasting Room

The most recent vintage we have tasted is the 2012 Areni Reserve, limited amounts of the 2013 and 2014 have been released, but no 2016 will be released due to poor growing conditions.

Old Bridge also operates a B&B in Yeghegnadzor. It’s a good starting point for touring the surrounding sites and wineries.

Old Bridge’s Areni Reserves have won multiple Gold Medals at the Mundus Vini International Wine Awards.
