Yacoubian-Hobbs is a much heralded joint venture between the Yacoubian family from California and Paul Hobbs, the renown American winemaker and entrepreneur famous for developing wineries in Argentina, France, Canada, Uruguay and now Armenia.
The vineyards are located near the Areni-1 cave in Vayots Dzor, where a wine making facility over 6,000 years old was discovered. The wines are currently being made at Semina Consulting’s incubator winery until a Yacoubian-Hobbs facility is completed.
